School's Out!

Night comes early in wintry Door County. The teacher waves good bye to the students of this one room schoolhouse in Ephraim (Pioneer Schoolhouse). Not wanting to waste a precious moment of playtime, some of the kids add finishing touches to a snowman in the background. Ellen's acrylic painting is 24" x 30".
